So, a while ago I created the Class Browser , a reference tool that I used when creating UIManager-based GUI:s. It's grown a bit since then and because it's not really targeted just for GUI creation I think it needs its own thread.

The script allows you to browse all Fusion (and Resolve) classes it can find, including all properties and methods. It does this by looking at three things:

Fusion's built-in script documentation, GetHelp()
The global _G table

Just follow up a discussion that was initiated by Millolab in another thread
Please find below a simple convolutional filter, where you can achieve a bokeh from a self-drawn image.

Input Channel0: Connection for Video
Input Channel1: Connection for Bokeh Image
Input Channel2: (Optional) connection for B&W depth map

I did limit the Bokeh Image to 100x100 pixels. Image is multiplied and added to the Video in a typical convolutional way. But I did set 50% grey to zero influence. Hence below...

This is an update of the DCTL Bokeh Fuse. It tries to compensate for luminance changes coming from the bokeh image. If the bokeh image is too colorful, you might need to change the brightness slider.
I included a Min Convolutions Slider which is active as long as High Quality is not enabled. You can achieve interesting effects if you try very small numbers.

I've been investigating how to rig up things in fusion and how to make it easier.
More than a decade ago i used to work with Cinema4D and Xpresso and there was this Range Selector node, which was awesome, you could map values to a 0% - 100% slider. So like you could have -30°to 80° mapped to a 1 to 100 slider in a linear fashion. The power of this really simple operation was that you could map unlimited parameters to the same single slider, making any rigging really easy.

A simple macro that will AutoCrop the input to the DoD and then transform to the original position.
Inside the macro is a crop tool that is merged over a transparent background. The background gets its width and height from the macro's main input.
The button script simply invokes the auto crop function first and then uses the resulting offset and size data to reposition the input.

JiiPii and Millolab , I'm not convinced that the existing fuse will really make happy in terms of speed. The Nuke Convolve filter seems to be based on FFT (Fast Fourier Transformation) methods as they mention it in their documentation. On the other hand, there are other ways in discussion to speed up the computation like sparse or separable convolution methods. I assume that they are not working with pictures as a template.

[DEV] DCTL EndlessTexture Fuse

I try to convert the following Shadertoy into a DCTL Fuse.

Works so far so good as long as you use the resulting image as a still image. As soon as you move it, it starts to flicker and the whole image appears noisy with fine grain.
Maybe there is some trick as I had to deal with beloved textureGrad, dFdx and dFdy code. Would be happy if somebody finds a workaround.

The other day I stumbled upon this:

Shared the whole thing with good friend danell and while he's investigating into making a Plugin or a Fuse out of this, I managed to make it into a macro.

After some rethinking I re-did the UI of my scrip Flow Manager and thus wanting to post it here before pusing it to Reactor!

Tag nodes as FullQ or Proxy. FullQ should be your main node (eg a slow depth blur) and Proxy should be your substitute node (eg a fast gausian blur).
By switching between these you can now speed up your flow by temporarly disable heavy nodes and replace them with light once.
Before rendering out, with a press of a button, switch back to the heavy but...

I feel this too but idk how this should work... The user can manually enable/dissable some nodes so there might be a mix of on/off once.

Here's an idea:
If you can color code the groups then use three colors:

light gray = not enabled (this Gould just be 80% gray)
Yellow = enabled state but some nodes don't match
green or blue = enabled state and all notes match

If yellow, then options to reenable all, disable all, create new sub group from currently enabled, or toggle all states...

I used this shadertoy in my YT video and it was requested to release it as a fuse. So I built a fuse from the FragmentShader file. The parameters are not limited and may need to be adjusted.

I have only one Nvidia system and have tested this fuse under Cuda and OpenCL (Nvidia).

So, my second attempt to build up this fuse was successful. The first time, I couldn't find the reason why I received strange outputs. This time I was better organized with my template. But the mod function seems to work differently compared to WebGL for Shadertoy which gave me a headache.

No, by no means too complex. I have already built fuses with several DCTL codes. It's just the kernels lining up, the output is the input of the next. Here of course the two outputs as inputs of the third kernel. Just diligence work. The crux of the matter is with the recursive ones, because I observe a pulling away of the image with every frame.
