[Help Wanted] Creating reactor addon for pixelsorting

Hello dear people that try to suck less.

I'm looking to create a node in reactor that does pixelsorting, has an input mask, a way to feed it specific colours to sort via secondary image input.
Also, sliders and toggles 4 values and settings.

I am a noob though, and I am in dire need of assistance. Say I have the code written in OpenCV how would I go about creating an actual GUI element and set up the exchange of data ?

(I don't actually have any code written in OpenCV At this stage just an edited ASDFPixelSort.pde)

Any pointers to other posts and or YouTube video’s on the subject would be greatly appreciated

Moving this to Scripting, Fuses and Macros.

It sounds like what you are wanting to create is called a Fuse, which is a script plugin that can do image processing in Fusion.

Reactor is a package manager with which you can distribute said plugins. First you have to create the plugin, though

Other option could be using the 'C' SDK to create a plugin, I did some experiments with Open CV C API and Fusions SDK and it worked fine. The SDK seems to be much faster than Fuses, but obviously platform dependant and slower to implement.

Where can i find this c sdk ?
I don`t think writing visual processing apps in lua or python is going to be fast enough for anything.

It seems that lua is fast enough for this specefic aplication.

If you want the Fusion SDK contact Support, you'll need to sign and NDA then they should send you it.

I think they only give out the SDK to very special people atm. They are pushing hard to create OFX plugins instead.
There are some info and example plugins when you install Davinci Resolve
