Talk:Useful Scripts
From VFXPedia
Where should we put eyeonscript.exe scripts? The kind you run from the command line? --Chad
- Could make a new category here. --Daniel
For the User Controls, how do we hide the tabs? I only see how you can clear out the controls themselves. --Chad
I'm thinking about making the page layout a bit tidier. I've made a template that prevents the text from flowing around the icons for example. Also, I think further subcategories for comp scripts like Gringo did for the macros page (e.g. "exporting" or "flow organisation") might make this page easier to browse. Any objections? :-) --Tilt 05:23, 29 September 2010 (EDT)
- -- I totally agree. Now it's pretty hard to look up a script here. I have the following subcategories in my Fusion:\Scripts\Comp: Batch Parameters, Colors and Names, Composition, Edit, Loaders-Savers and in Fusion:\Scripts\Tool: Loaders-Savers, Tool Alignment, Tracking-Transforms. --Gringo 08:09, 30 September 2010 (EDT)
- -- Started some cleanup work today. I might change the template a bit though, to allow filenames that don't end with .eyeonscript, because there are some zip and rar archives as well...
- -- The Third-party_Scripts section is a bit strange, because majority of the scripts on this page are third-party scripts. --Gringo 16:20, 24 October 2010 (EDT)
- -- I think it was meant for scripts that run somewhere else (MAX scripts, PHP...). But it could be called something else, that's true.
