Polylines
Miscellaneous Changes
To improve interface consistency, the 'O' keyboard shortcut no longer closes/opens polylines. As of Fusion 5.1, use the Shift+O keyboard instead.
Adjusting points on multiple polylines at once
It is now possible to select and manipulate points on several polylines at once. This can be used to move points from several polylines at the same time, or to apply immediate transformations like twists and scales to a complex rotoshape. To disable this feature deselect the 'allow selection of points from multiple polylines' option in the compositions Spline Preferences panel.
Effects Masks
Mask Rendering Changes
An improvement has been made to the code for triangulation of double polylines to correct a bug that could cause jagged edges on double polylines in isolated cases. This is important because it is possible for compositions that contain double polylines created in Fusion 5 to render slightly differently in Fusion 5.1.
Improved Connections for Masks
Mask can now be connected to the image input of any tool. For example, it is now possible to apply a Grid Warp directly to a mask tool, or to apply a soft glow to a mask, without the need for a Background tool to convert the image to a three channel image.
Mask Centers
Masks created by right-clicking in the Display View now have the center of the mask placed at the location where the artist right -clicked. This restores the behaviur of masks from Digital Fusion 4.
Reset Outer Polyline positions
Selecting the Reset Outer Polyline Point Positions option in the polyline context menu will now reset only selected points on the outer polyline.
