FAQ/Wacom Issues

When using a tablet, or more specifically when upgrading to a newer model, the mouse cursor might start acting weirdly or keeps freezing. These are solutions collected from the mailing list:

• Go to your Wacom -> settings manager and delete all user settings. After that everything should be fine again.

• According to Wacom support, some tablet models might react badly on dust and crumbs that got stuck on the finger touch sensors. Disabling them might help.

• If you change your tablet model, uninstall the Wacom driver before installing the one that came with your new tablet.

• Rolling back the driver a couple of versions should be the last straw, but might be necessary if the above solutions didn't work.
