When attempting to view Stereo footage on a non-Quadro based video card via the new DirectX display, there are few things to keep in mind.

  • On the first attempt of viewing stereo on the DirectX view, you will need to hold ctrl+alt+ins before selecting "View on DirectX" to enable the video driver's to allow Fusion to view in stereo mode. Once entered into the video drivers, the key combination is no longer required to view stereo.
  • You will need to set your Preferences/Globals and New Comps/IO/DirectX/ to the appropriate display and stack method.
  • Once set to stereo, the DirectX view will always expect a stacked image, any other image will be split and over-layed.
