FAQ/Hotkeys dont work
From VFXPedia
Non-working hotkeys is a symptom of a problem in Fusion's scripting system. Other symptoms can include the Load Comp and Save Comp menu options not working, or possibly other commands too.
If it's just started happening
It's possible that eyeonScript.exe has locked up while waiting for Windows Networking to respond. Try quitting Fusion, wait 10 seconds, then check Task Manager's Processes list. If you still see eyeonScript.exe in there, kill it. Start Fusion and check the hotkeys again.
If it hasn't worked since the last upgrade
If that doesn't work, or if hotkeys have not worked for you since Fusion was last upgraded, you may have a bad install. It's possible that the eyeonScript.dll or .exe files weren't correctly upgraded, and are still old versions. This can cause various subtle and not-so-subtle problems.
To confirm this, open your Fusion folder, switch to Details view, and sort by Last Modified. You should see that the Fusion.exe file, eyeonScript.exe, eyeonServer.exe and all the eyeon*.dlls (including eyeonScript.dll) should be grouped together under the same date (for 5.1 build 100, this is 18 Dec 2006). You can do a similar test for the plugins\eyeon folder. Check the two script files particularly. If any of these have significantly different Last Modified dates, first check Task Manager's Processes list (as described above) to be sure eyeonScript.exe is not listed, then repeat the upgrade install. Confirm the file dates afterwards.
