TapeMeasure Description

TapeMeasure_v07 Download

  • Measures the distance between two points on an image in Fusion units (1 Fusion unit = image width) and in pixels.
  • Measures the angle between the line connecting the points and the X axis.
  • Displays the image aspect.
  • Incorporates a distance converter from pixels to Fusion units.

To use the macro, feed your image to the Input, drag'n'drop the TapeMeasure node to a Display View

Source image. Required.





Controls Tab


From Point

Point control. Sets the beginning of the measuring line.

To Point

Point control. Sets the end of the measuring line.

Measured Data

Group of controls. Displays the measurement results.

Display Text

Checkbox control. Switches the text over the measurement line in the Display View on and off.

Text Size

Slider control. Defines the text size in the Display View.

Justification

Multi-button control. Lets you choose the alignment of the text over the measurement line.

Text Color

Color control. Defines the color of the text over the measurement line.

Display Line

Checkbox control. Switches the the measurement line in the Display View on and off.

Line Thickness

Slider control. Defines the width of the measurement line.

This Size in Pixels:

Slider control. Enter the size or distance in pixels which you want to convert to default Fusion units.

Equals to This Size in Fusion Units:

Slider control. Outputs the value in pixels from the control above converted to Fusion units..





Tips

  • If you switch to another tool and back, the measured values displayed in the Control Panel are lost. To restore them, you need to refresh the TapeMeasure tool by either pressing Ctrl+P twice or by changing any parameter.
