coool PBO (Pixel Buffer Objects) to accelerate performance in the display views. If you experience problems with the display views in Fusion 5.01 and 5.0 worked fine for you, try setting the env var "FUSION_USE_PBO" to "false" to disable.?

- Sounds good. Though I'd probably link it from the Formats page rather than Main. And then, since Formats is orphaned, link to it from Main. The Reference Manual also has a File Formats appendix (though that hasn't been moved over yet), and this could tie in with that - it'd make a good addition to the Tips section. --Daniel 23:53, 13 February 2007 (Central Standard Time)

Spam filter

- I see that you always try to get rid of that irritating spams but I think manually it could be pain in the ass and time consuming. Right? So after a quick search I've found some links that might help. Didn't tried and I don't have any experience about this stuff but maybe someone else could help on this issue to you. Yeah, ReCaptcha is pretty good and the JustHumans thing looks good too, but I suspect they wouldn't help. I don't think I'm up against robots here, more likely a bunch of low-paid Chinese spam-monkeys who wouldn't be phased by captchas anyway. It's not really that onerous - I can delete pages in much less time than they put them up, couple of minutes a day, and I block IPs and linked domains each time too, so it takes a while for them to get around those. Still, it's tempting to just blacklist most of China... --Daniel

Wow... those new "users" not just create new pages but besides edit old ones they even delete existing contents. As I see it right in the wishlist. --Ata 05:07, 17 December 2008 (CST)
