Background Gradients
Often used gradient settings. Simple but time saving presets useful when you create different gradients.
Place downloaded .setting files to your Fusion:\Macros or Fusion:\Settings folder. You can add them to the toolbar for quick access.

BG_RadialGrayscale Creates a radial linearly interpolated gradient with the center at the image center. The same takes 7 clicks to setup from the default gradient setting. |
BG_SphericalIncidence Creates a radial gradient with the center at the image center interpolated in the way as if it would be an incidence pass of a sphere. Useful when you want to mimic spherical or cylindrical surfaces on a height map. The same can be achieved by applying a CustomTool with this expression: (1-(1-c1)^2)^0.5 to a linearly interpolated gradient. |
BG_Spectrum Creates a horizontal spectrum ramp. The same takes 18 clicks to setup from the default gradient setting. |
BG_VerticalGrayscale Creates a vertical grayscale gradient. The same takes 5 clicks to setup from the default gradient setting. |
BG_UVMap Creates a plain UV Map which performs zero-distortion when applied. The same takes 6 clicks to setup from the default gradient setting. |
BG_ColoredCorners Useful to test transformation and distortion tools when you need to see how much and in what way the image is adjusted. The same takes 5 clicks to setup from the default gradient setting. |
