I was hoping to get some help with the writing of a Fuse that is above my head for the moment.

The Fuse is based on the tetra Blink script written by Steve Yedlin, snippets of the code can be seen in his display prep demo followup:

I made a quick transcription that has most of the code, but some of it is missing.

here's something been working on. It's called text effector (Tef). It works in a similar way to cloner, in that it uses effector images to affect text. Different to just using a follower because you have more exact control over what and when the text is positoned, scaled and rotated.

Could not have done it without help from Dunn Lewis. For letting me use his code from TextWrapper and for his TextEffector.Fuse vital assistance with some of the shape code.

I decided not to make a plugin using OpenCV and instead I have found how to calculate the centroid using simple math and thus I have now made a fuse instead so everyone can jump on the action!

It is currently processing the red channel and the whole image, so it can't locate multiple objects in the image.
The fuse gives different weights to the pixels brightess thus we can now get sub-pixel centroids! :cheer:

Just an idea about a bilateral filter. The 2-pass method makes sure, that it convolves 2 x n and not n x n. In addition, you are able to displace vertical/horizontal parts.

The idea of this fast disk-like Bokeh fuse is, to convolve an image by means of an integrated Bokeh image. This consists of evenly spaced points arranged as a disk.
It can be realized by the Vogel’s spiral formation method described in the following article p.26:

Due to a recent discussion about seamless texture for 3D objects I made a DCTL fuse, which transforms different 2D textures into seamless (non-mirrored) textures.
You could also make a macro, but the DCTL fuse should be much faster. The idea is simple - you copy a texture image four times and put their midpoints to each corner of the whole image. You increase their sizes equally and blend the overlapping parts into each other. You can see the results in the following video.

I would like to show, the result of developing a fast DCTL Blur tool. The standard Gaussian Blur is already pretty fast and it's speed is independent of blur size.
The standard is not GPU supported and hence it is interesting, how to make a DCTL version out of it. Due to multiple passing, the speed of this fuse is also independent of blur size.

This fuse can be used to build up Glow, as it runs Exponential/Fibonacci blur size iterations known by FastExpoGlow Macro from Millolab or XGlow Fuse...

Just had the idea to make a simple iterative Buffer-based DCTL Fuse. Very interesting is the effect, that you can clean crowded streets as it's known as a technique when doing very long exposures in photography.

The nice thing is, that it's a very fast technique.
