Hi everyone,

I wanted to share this game announcement trailer we just finished for 9 Monkeys of Shaolin .

It was completely comped in Fusion. It's 3D animation (CG) with only 2D backgrounds.
The character and props are all CG and are comped into the 2D background assets.
These 2D matte paintings are positioned, projected and comped in Fusion with the exported cameras from Maya.
All the camera motion is reproduced in Fusion for the flat layers and we matched the character into that.

Wanted to reach out to any of you heading to NAB. I'll be demonstrating Davinci and Fusion on Linux in the Panasas booth, SL12108, next week and would love to chat about all things Fusion! We also have a laser 4k projector and immersive dome to checkout!

My first project with Fusion. I'm total noob here. I have been using Resolve for about 6 months and love it. Finally gave a crack at Fusion and can't wait to learn more about it. Never used Ae or anything like Fusion.

In the attached clip, I created the intro and exit graphics with Fusion 100% (except for the wizard logo, that was provided by my client). I also used the bubble particle feature for the transitions. The other text and lower thirds was added with Resolve.

I am just learning but...

The goal of experiment is to set up shading network completely inside Fusion, without external renderers.

Studied the tool custom vertex. Just experimented.
