Blobs Have no Alpha when Merged with other 3D objects?

Hey, Newbie from Nuke here, still finding my feet in Fusion...

I have a Particle system with Blob as my Particle Type. When they are over each other, they look beautiful but I am merging a Duplicate3D node that has a Compound Clip on an ImagePlane, and any Particles in front of the Image Plane have black fringing, like it has no alpha... There aren't many settings in the Merge3D node, so I'm not sure where I can set it to work properly... or even if it is possible.... When I replace the Media with a Random JPG from my download folder it works... so it looks like the Compound clip is being treated differently...? Im not sure what's going on... Help....?
