Release Candidate 4 (build 1420) has just been released. In the e-mail I've received, the said that it's gonna be the last one before the full shipping release.

Unfortunately, the release notes at http://fusion.eyeonline.com/home/release-notes haven't been updated yet as of this moment.

You do get e-mail notification? wow
I've just found the update coz I don't get e-mail notification about it. I always have to check my google drive to see if we have a newer build.
.. and I was looking for the release notes also as you did :)

build 1420 was released at 10.08.2014. btw.

I thought that mail gets sent out to everybody who requested Fusion 7 via the web form?

It just contains download links to the exe files on google drive.

I think I don't have access to that (as I'm not on the beta list, just on the "can download the release candidates" list)

Same here. Not in beta, don't have access to the Google project.

Since the three previous release candidates promptly had release notes at fusion.eyeonline.com, I don't really understand why the this-time-we-really-mean-it gold candidate would not.

Can anybody tell me approximately how many people Eyeon has on their SW development staff? That would be engineers, coders, QA people, release/configuration control, etc. Five? Fifteen? Fifty? I'm guessing 50 is way too high. 5 seems plausible, but also totally inadequate...

Let's find out! :-) These are people I have e-mails from:

Steve Roberts, CEO
Jeff Krebs, director of sales
Joanne Dicaire, sales?
Barbara Clayton, license renewal?
Eric Westphal, senior product specialist
Peter Loveday
Daniel Koch
Stuart MacKinnon, Senior Programmer
Stephen Horwat, Software Developer
Srecko Zrilic (I just know him as the guy who fixes the spline-related bugs I've submitted :-))

so, we are 11 month after the webinar on Fusion7, 3 month after the first release of the GC version but there is no official release yet?

had hoped for a final release on IBC but now with the sell to BMD it will take even longer?
