Plexus / Krokodove Connect3D tool

Is there anyway to do Plexus like effects in Fusion 16? I read that Krokodove's Connect 3D tool can do that, but it doesn't seem to work in Fusion 16 unless I missed something.

That's exactly what it does! But Krokodove is not available for Fusion 16 yet.

However, something may well be happening soon...

In the meantime, you can download Fusion Studio 9 for Mac, Windows or Linux to give Krokodove a try (available on Reactor, of course).

What would be a technic to do it "by hand"?
Put a sphere on each vertex of a model? (how do you do that with fu default tools?)
Or trace a line between particles? (how do you do that with fu default tools?)

I'm trying to convert my new colleagues to Fusion instead of buying Stardust for AE.

A Replicate3D would do that.

Well...that is indeed something KKD Connect3D would be needed for.
The project files of Fu16 and Fu9 are fully compatible, so you could go back to Fu9 and enjoy the benefits of KKD.
TBH, due to the crappy interface in Fu16 I work with Fu9 95% of the time...:-)

@SirEdric I LOOOOOVE YOU MAN!!! The Replicate 3D works perrrrrrrrfectly!!! That's exactly what I needed!

Fu16 and Fu9 project files are compatible, but unfortunately Fu16 and DaFu don't recognize KKD nodes... (yet?)
And I want to show my colleagues how handy Resolve+Fusion is.

Thank you soooo much, man!

You're sooooo welcome...:-)
The thing is that the SDK has changed between Fu9 and Fu16.
So all plugins (like KKD) need to be compiled against that new SDK....once it's released...:-)
As said before, I still use Fu9 standalone along with Resolve 16.
Fu16 only for some tasks where it performs considerably better than Fu9.
Like 3D Camera tracking e.g.

I don’t really mind the interface. It is indeed annoying to be looking for some stuff but once you find them back, you’re good. And I was used to work on a laptop for years, now I’m working on a 27’’ so it’s like party for me. I don’t mind Fu16’s interface anymore :D
Just missing KKD but I’m crossing fingers :D
