Ok, so that means that I'm missing something.
My Firewall is off. Fusion is activated within the Security/Privacy menu in the system preferences...
What am I missing? :(

i also get this message when I try to.

my next best guess is to temporarily disable SIP and see if that is the culprit... It don't see any really why it should be but you never know until you try.

In the Security and Privacy system preferences I have Fusion listed in the 3 categories actually: "Accessibility", "Full Disk Access" and "File and Folders".

still no luck. I have yet to try disable SIP, though.
Seems that in Mojave there's not "file and Folders" in the privacy menu...

Are you running any 3rd party firewall or security tools like Little Snitch? You may need to adjust sensitivity or add some specific rules for Fusion and cURL.
I don't know enough about cURL but here's a list of protocols and ports used:

I installed reactor successfully last night but upon opening resolve this morning it was gone. All of the add-ons i downloaded through reactor last night are also missing as well. Ive tried to reinstall reactor and the installer gets an error at stage 3 which says:

installation status
step 3 of 8
[download url]
https://gitlab.com/api/v4/projects50588 ... ate_token=

installation error [Reactor.luawrite Error] C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\Davinci Resolve\Plugins\Reactor\System\Reactor.lua

last night it installed fine and I am confused as to why it is gone now, and also wont install this time.

computer specs:
windows 10
1080ti geforce gpu
i7 8700k cpu
32 GB ram

running the free version of davinci resolve (idk if that matters)

So you don't see the menu item in Workspace > Scripts > Reactor ?

Hmmm. I wonder if there is an issue with the path map then...this could happen if you installed to a removable disk that is no longer connected or the drive letter changed for instance since the mapped path is absolute.
Assuming you installed to the default location during the install process you should have a reactor path map of:

Windows Reactor Path:
C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\Fusion\Reactor\

While in Resolve go to the fusion prefs from the fusion menu and check the global path maps. Scroll down to the user section.
Make sure the reactor value matches the actual install location on disk.

Now can you reproduce it? :)

Would be good to find out what caused it in the first place...

Any luck, Milliolab? If you can figure it out, I'm sure we'd love to know. Very best!

Two possible reasons that I suspect here. One is that you don't have write permissions to that location on disk.

dtll84 wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 9:00 amC:\Users\Damián\

The second potential problem is that special character in your username.

For either problem, try installing to a custom location instead?
