ColorInspectorPro

I'm glad to submit this macro, as is it my first joint effort on WSL.
Frankly this is mostly @intelligent machine 's work. I had made a rough version of this, but he took it a "few" steps further.

Here the DEV thread! viewtopic.php?p=30399#p30399

So basically what this tool does is displaying RGBa values of a specific part of your image.

Image

- No need to manual move the overlay. It will automatically move out of the way when you drag the probe within a threshold.
- Each channel's text is displayed in that color
- The background opacity can be adjusted
- The overlay can be switched off/on
- The Macro has two inputs. If only the yellow input is used then the input switch does nothing but doesn't break it. With both inputs used you can toggle between two images - just in case this is useful.

here our submission!

Great work 8-) !
Just in case you want to work some more on the fuse, some extra pro features could be:
  • * Set the amount of decimals you wish to see
    * Instead of letting the texts show in their colors, make them all gray/one custom color

And submitted! :cheer:

Handy little tool for sure. I like it's a node, so you can set up little checkpoints across your comp, but I found a flaw so I have a feature request... To the dev topic I go... :)

Thanks both!

hehe...hate to do this to you but I have an update for this already on the way...but feature requests are welcome since I'm already in it.

I'm working on adding RGBA sliders to the tool controls that are driven by the probe...the sliders will mirror what's shown in the view and then you'll have a color picker value to use elsewhere.

Added in 2 minutes 45 seconds:
I'm also tweaking the background as I just tested it on a really vibrant image and think it could be a bit darker.
The next feature will probably be a global scale at the end of the chain.

Thanks! @SecondMan!
Already have another update coming, haha.

In other news. I attended a few virtual NAB presentations today and found a few Fusion users in the chats who didn't know about this forum so I reeled them in. At least one has already created an account (IlluminatedReality).
