We would like to thank everyone who has been using our previous betas and providing feedback.

It’s very helpful and so we are pleased to report that DaVinci Resolve 15b4 is now released and available as a no charge upgrade for download from the BMD support web site.
https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/suppor ... and-fusion

Please back up your v12, v12.5 or v14 database and export a drp for current active projects and then install the free version or the Studio version if you have an existing Resolve or Fusion Studio dongle or a Resolve activation key.

Please report bugs with system information and diagnostic logs on the v15 beta sub forum.

It's great to see that Fusion page based Lua AskUser dialogs work in the latest Resolve 15 Beta 4 release. :)

Also the Fusion > Script menu now refreshes dynamically as new Lua/Python scripts are added/removed from the Scripts:/Comp PathMap folder. This saves having to restart Resolve after Reactor is installed.

There will be no cheering until

1) we know the status of stand alone Fusion.
2) There are FREE RENDER NODES for Davnici for at least Fusion.

But what defines the status of standalone fusion?
Is a Bugfix release with the new resolve node UI this year enough? Even if the next year it will be ended?
Do you would like to hear "fusion will get updates the next 10 years"?

The question of any limit shouldn't even come up. I'd hate to think I'm over half way with Fusion.

I did a quick check here and Reactor v2 is running fine in Resolve 15 on my desktop system.

@rslittle what error message is written in the Console window when you try to run Reactor?

The most likely situation you might experience is that you have a personal outgoing firewall product installed and it isn't set to allow Resolve 15 B4 + fuscript to communicate with the internet which is how Reactor downloads new atoms. Did you update Resolve or Windows 10 since you last used Reactor?

If you are curious and want to get to the root of the issue you can look at the Creating Environment Variables > Reactor Debug section of the Reactor documentation and try out the REACTOR_DEBUG=true environment variable that saves out a log file.

When the REACTOR_DEBUG environment variable is active a Temp:/Reactor/ReactorLog.txt document is saved to disk when you open the Reactor window.

I just reinstalled it and it works again.
