When an Idea is first created, it is marked - unsurprisingly:
An Idea gets an Idea ID assigned, and people can vote on it. Unlike voting on WSL polls, however, voting on Ideas is public. So anyone will be able to see who voted for or against what. You can change or retract your vote in case you change your mind when an Idea evolves.
As soon as an Idea is created, it can be linked to a discussion topic, which is set by the Idea's author (or by me if necessary).
The idea behind Ideas is that the Idea is being discussed and described to a point where it is almost a blueprint. When, eventually, ideally, someone takes on the development of an Idea, an Idea is marked In Progress.
