[DEV] ZoomNoise Fuse

Where the future is being made, today.

Welcome to the WSL development corner!

In this forum, please post your development projects. You get kudos and feedback here.
Topics ideally have preset prefixes, and this is what they (might) mean:

  • [DEV] - very much work in progress, don't build a business on this, could go anywhere
  • [BETA] - should kinda do what it's supposed to do, please test, give feedback
  • [RC] - this may end up in Reactor soon, polishing up, now's the time for last minute thoughts
  • [ABD] - died a premature death, sadness, will not see the light of day ever (unless someone picks up the scraps)

Once a development project has been released (hurray), topics can be marked as - you guessed it - [RELEASED] :cheer:

Development topics only, please. For generic questions, how-to's, questions and inquiries about existing tools etc, please go to the appropriate other forums.

An interesting noise shader that zooms endlessly.

@Shem Namo I have to thank you for your great coding ideas. Took the coloring part from your Turbulence Noise which saved a lot of time and makes it hopefully more intuitive to apply for all. Found another Voronoise based infinite zoom which is a little bit hidden in this

Will extract the code and integrate that next.

An integration of texture as extension is also nice...

@Shem Namo do you have any idea, how to integrate native tools from fusion in the DCTL fuse after the DCTL image. Before the DCTL image it's not a problem, but after. My computer crashes all the time if, for example, I would like to integrate a code for subsequent blur.

Thanks @tida, I'm really glad you found some of these ideas useful!!

That Voronoi Shader looks really cool!!

What version of Fusion are you using?
I was under the impression that they fixed it, but I could be wrong.

I also had that problem a few months back, it isn't your fault or your computer's fault.
It is a bug, we should report it to BMD again.

@Shem Namo It's just this fuse. I wanted to add a subsequent blur as there is not a real detail change when different numbers of iteration are chosen. Hence I did add my developed multi pass-blur - which means a lot of lines more and overkill as I developed that to assure to apply masks but this is not needed here.
However, good question about Version - I think I might was still at v17.1 at that time...

Now I did add a Zoom Texture functionality. This is especially interesting if you attach the standard Fast Noise:

Now, this extension comes closer to 3D but has nothing to do with any particle system...

Just adding a few more texture zoom modes to it. Currently an additional Texture Blend, a Tunnel Effect, and two different Droste Effect modes.
