Python shell - Load Project Replace media -> Render

#1

Post by kni8_2k »

Hi,

I'm a houdini user who is creating a bunch of render iterations. I would like to put these renders through Fusion in Resolve via an external python script.

I'm using the free version of Resolve and really am only familiar working inside of Fusion tab of Resolve.

I would like to :

Load Resolve in Python
Load my Fusion project
Import/Or Replace existing media with a new image sequence.
Rename Saver output
Render All savers in the project.

I would appreciate any guidance on doing this in python. I can hack my way through it with a bit of guidance, and would really appreciate the bump.

Cheers,
Ali

I think the free version doesn’t support external scripting.

Thanks !

Well, it seems to be also unreliable ! I tried just making the comps and rendering everything so I have it, and it spits out garbage.

The main problem is that it fails to load the file and cache it when it does the calculations. its almost like I need to force load the file before I calculate the Motion vectors from it.

would any node in fusion Gaurantee reading the frame before moving forward?
