Because VFXPedia is offline for now, and this one is so awesome to use with the Time Machine modifier.

Time3D is like a TimeStretcher, but for 3D scenes.

copy to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Blackmagic Design\Fusion\Fuses, or wherever you keep your Fuses, to install.

Hmmm Maybe VFXpedia will never come back online the way we remember it. Maybe we should upload some of the most popular Scripts, Macros and Fuses we have here as a backup in case someone needs something and can't find it. What do you think?

I suggested that on the BM forum as well so I guess we'll have to do it ;) - I actually think it's a great idea. Let me check in with BM as well to see if we're not going to do a hell of a lot of double work.

Yeah, there's been some minor tools I've done in the past year or so I'd like to post somewhere. It's not just a collection of backups from VFXPedia, we need a place to put the new stuff too, and it would be nice if they were the same.

Well, I've just watched the three Youtube tutorials from Eyeon about volume fog, saw this mentioned, found the link broken, did a search, landed here and now have it. So a repository of such tools old and new would be most welcome, assuming BM aren't doing it of course.

You can find some of the old tools here :

New ones here:

And for those that are looking for that one specific tool ;) :

Thanks! I was looking for this tool.
I did a tutorial on "3d data exchange between Blender and Fusion with fbx and alembic".
I was wondering how to control the timing of the alembic files. I should update this tutorial.

blackmagic should include this fuse as default fuses.
:)

Hi everyone! With Fusion free 7,7 and 9.02: I cant get the fuse to work. It slides the clip but then the alembic clip freezes. So I can't get more than a freeze from the fuse but I cant slide the .abc clip and make it play. I can trim the clip in the timeline but I need to slide. Any ideas?

Have you animated the Time parameter? If not, you will be requesting the same time for every frame of your timeline, which results in a freeze.

Alternatively, use Time Machine and use the Offset mode.

Greetings SecondMan! Thanks so much for the quick help. No, I didn't animate it. Will try that tomorrow. Along with time machine. Great! :D :) ;) !
