It's going to be a while before OpenCL-based Fuses start being converted for Fusion16. The new DCTL language is not well documented, and nobody's yet taken the time to explore it, as far as I am aware. Even once we start digging into it, Optical Flares is a really big tool, and it's going to take a lot of work to rewrite it.

AFAIK it's something completely different

Dctl is a programming language that can utilize hardware acceleration but is vendor agnostic. It will, under the hood, "translate" to OpenCL, Cuda or metal. So you can type the code once and don't have to care about the user's hardware

Hi, i purchased OF for fusion at gumroad but cannot get it to work.

i put templates.zip in C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\Fusion

i put CGS_OpticalFlares.zip in C:\Users\Harry\AppData\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\Fusion\Fuses

it shows up under effects, but as soon as a node gets created it wont work
