Noob Viewer Question

#1

Post by anglereserve » Wed May 15, 2019 1:37 pm

Hi All,

I updated to Fusion 9 studio and now there is a "Monitor View" that's fullscreen that I can't get out of fullscreen. Is this supposed to be like that or is there a preference somewhere? Sorry for the noob question. I can't seem to find anything in the manual or online about this.

No problem. Just press '3' and it should exit full screen mode. And yes, completely full screen without any controls is exactly its intended use.
You're most welcome. All AE/Nuke refugees are. :-)

How did you get it fullscreen? Try pressing F4 for starters.

Again: how did you create this view and how did you make it fullscreen? Is it on your main monitor or are you using multiple displays?

I am using multiple monitors. If I create a "New Image View" it works as expected. F4 will exit fullscreen. I open the "Monitor View" by clicking the third viewer dot on any given node. It's the one I'm wondering about. Is it supposed to be fullscreen only without additional controls? Sorry again for the fumbling. I'm totally new to Fusion, coming from AE/Nuke. Thanks for the help!

Thanks! It's a bit of a bumpy transition with my deadline but liking what I see. Much appreciated!
