That should work, unless you've changed your Path Maps in Preferences. Though I would recommend saving Fuses in:

C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\Fusion

instead, since Fusion installs are being overwritten during updates.

Suck Less Audio shows up when right-clicking a parameter and selecting Modify With -> Audio (WAV). Here's an example (copy/paste the below in your Flow View):

Thank you so much for your advice and your attention to this!!! Finally did it... I don't think it's ever possible without your help! Is it okay for me to ask how to put a background image in my videos with Blackmagic Fusion? Or is there a another thread that talks about that? Sorry for annoying you so much...

I would suggest starting a new topic for it, and be as accurate as you can in describing what you would like to achieve. "Put a background image in my videos" is a little too generic... ;)

This fixes the Reload Sample button for Fusion 8+

Please continue to use version 1.2 with older versions of Fusion.

It doesn't work with fusion 8. When I drag and drop it in my comp it disappears.

What are you dragging into your comp, exactly?

What system are you using? Windows or MacOS? U gotta drop .fuse file in the Fuse folder (location depends on your system), restart fusion after that.
Then if u wanna use it, lets say u want to make shape change its width with the music, right click on the width scale of the object, choose Modify and go for Audio(WAV)

Thank you, this is exactly what I needed for something I'm working on. Would it be possible to make this work with the .wav files that DaVinci Resolve exports? I'm on a Mac and had to run the sound file thru Audacity after exporting from Resolve in order for the file to be effective.

I think it needs updating for Fusion 9. At least it didnt work for me.

After I exported the audio file from Audacity in the .Wav (Microsoft) format on my iMac the Audio File Modifier worked fine in Fusion Studio 9.01. For some reason it just doesn't like the flavor of .Wav file that DaVinci Resolve 14 outputs.

Yes, only one flavour of WAV is supported and works fine in Fusion 9. I think Resolve outputs Broadcast Wave which is slightly different. In theory it would be possible to support it if I can find a precise layout of the file format, in practice I am unlikely to find the time for that...

Hi there, total newbie. Two questions:
Anyone have any luck using this with Resolve 15, especially the baked in fusion tab? Also, and this may be the problem, where exactly on the Mac does one put this? I have tried the fuse folder, I created a modifiers folder inside the fuse folder, outside the fuse folder. Sorry for the dumb questions and thanks in advance for any insight. Cheers

Yes, this works fine in Resolve. The easiest to get it in there is through Reactor, which you can find here: viewtopic.php?t=2159

Hi SecondMan,

Thanks for that. I have installed Reactor but I am still getting no love. It says that the modifiers have been installed but I can't see them in the folders they are purported to be installed in. Also nothing is showing up in the Plugin Scanner. Nothing is showing up in the "Modify with>" menu except the defaults.

Looks like you're trying to modify a point control. Try modifying a number control instead, like a Blur's size.

As an example of how you can modify a point control like Center with the Suck Less Audio modifier, first modify the Center with an XY Path, and then modify X, Y or Z (which are number parameters) independently.
