[LUA] tool exchange

#1

Post by miaz3 » Fri Mar 01, 2019 1:54 pm

hello guys,

Just share a tool that i made for exchange tools between compers. I do not reinvent the wheel...
But it was mainly to counter the fact of not being able to launch a bins servers.

This script encode data on JSON, and JSON are stored in a repo folder. The only things to do is to set your repo folder on server.

How it work :
- Select tool, put a name, put a description then hit 'publish'.
- Double clic on tool, it pasted on your comp.

toolsXchange.lua

note: scripted on win platform, so on unix/linux only 'username' won't work i think (not tested yet).
do not hesitate to make me a return, to improve it.

The updated Create Bin From Directory.lua script works for me in Fusion 9. It's in Reactor in the EyeonLegacy atom. You can also find the script directly in the GitLab Reactor repo here.

yes, but you have to install, start the bin server. In my case is a workaround without bin server.
