Append

Image

Append multiple clips one after each other with this fuse.
Connect them in the order of playback and the fuse does what you expect it to do!
This fuse also lets you blend between the connected nodes by the blend sliders.

Oh no, I just saw I didn't post it in the Reactor Submissions. Maybe @SecondMan can move it to the correct location? :) I have already added the link to this post in the atom.

This is really wonderful. There's just one thing you might want to consider: in previous versions of Fusion the concept of clip lists existed. It was a way to have multiple clips in a single loader. And even though it was quite buggy and slightly unintuitive at times, your fuse has a similar concept. You might want to change the name from 'Append' (which is used inside of Fusion for other concepts as well) to something like Cliplist Fuse. This would make it more clear from the name what it is that your Fuse actually does.

Does the old clip list work like the switch-fuse or did it place one clip after another?
I name it append only because I first used this function inside of Nuke and it's called append in there, but cliplost is maybe better?

I don't mind Append, personally. ClipList would only really mean anything to people familiar with the concept, and we're a dying breed ;)

In Nuke it's called AppendClip, but I don't see the necessity to add Clip to the name. You don't say DissolveClip, or MergeClip either. Also, who says it's always a clip anyway (which implies a Loader), it may just refer to appending different branches in the tree. It appends, so Append seems appropriate.

Just decide on something and I'll submit the bugger :)

All valid points. I'm convinced. Append will be fine. Especially if it makes it easier for Nukers to find their way around Fusion.
