IMPORTANT UPDATE! May 12 13, 2026

Tomorrow Today Last Wednesday, on the 13th of May, the manual Patrons group (the one that gives you your green username AND access to dedicated Patrons spaces on WSL) will be has been DELETED.

This means that your access to those spaces will be has been revoked until you connect your Patreon account to WSL using the link below, which will give you access to the NEW, future-proof Patrons+++ group.

With the imminent release of ZEPPO BETA 2 - tentatively planned for released Friday today yesterday (!!) - I wouldn't dawdle... with Beta 2 (i.e. all my late nights in the past month), Zeppo has become something truly special, battle-tested and multi-user hardened in an actual production.

Yes, there will be a Reactor release eventually, and no, it won't have all the bells and whistles - those are for Patrons, because they are the ones keeping WSL afloat, which is still only barely these days...

I'd better get back to prepping that done did release then!

Thank you,

Pieter

Save time for set up timelines and clips.

Hi

I am looking to solve the issues and save some time.

I have 30 clips (Same person with a green background but different voices) and I have to create 30 timelines for each of the 30 clips. How can I do this a much quicker way so that it does it automatically for all 30 clips? Can you give me some advice to solve this problem.

You can search in this forum for the convert footage script. This can be used with templates to create the flows you're looking for.

Create a set-up for your workflow, save that as a template and then run the template on your folder of footage. This will create a seperate comp for each video file.

If you're looking to automate the process of keying, a simple approach to this would be to do all the "shots" as clips in a single timeline. You're still able to export them individually just like you would if you created individual timelines.

1. Create one timeline containing all 30 shots. Each shot is the exact length you would have put in individual timelines.
2. Create your composite in the Fusion tab for one of the shots.
3. In the Fusion Tab, with the "clips" panel enabled, select all the other shots. Then Middle mouse click the clip that has the compositing done. This will copy everything between the media in and media out to each of the selected clips.
4. In the delivery page, Export your timeline with individual clips, rather than a single clip.

Hope that helps.
